I wish.... I still have some distant relatives in Sweden and Norway. My mother's father came to the States from Norway when he was 9 yrs old. My father's father came to the States from Sweden when he was 14 yrs old. Both of my grandmothers' families came from Sweden just a few years before they (my grandmothers) were born. I still think of myself as Swedish and Norwegian based on what we eat, especially around Christmas time.
