Thanks for your concern, Irish. I do appreciate it....
For a long time, I guess due to my going thru menopause, I really didn't miss it. I think my not pursuing the issue let the problem get further entrenched. But since my long-lost sex drive made a re-appearance I've really noticed how little attention I've been getting. And it has really hurt.
After serious thought, and a few outright rejections, I called our Dr. prior to his appt. for a complete physical. Asked her to check on his total lack of libido. She did and it seems he is in a depression (I suspected this). She gave him Rx for anti-depressant and for Viagra. I'm not pressuring him, but am seeing improvement. At least I know now that it's NOT that he is turned off by me. We have talked and he believes that some of this is related to his time in 'Nam. Worked directly in front of radar screens. Seems that this type of exposure can eventually cause a loss of libido and an inability to perform. Gee, thanks Uncle Sam!
