my best friend, she was an 89 year old with a wonderfully wicked side and i loved her more than anyone really knew. my husbands grandmother, 'Gram'. my God i miss her. she passed away on my 31st birthday. one week from tonight i turn 32. i am not finding it easy to come to grip with this date this year. on the 17th she was laid to rest, i will be in vegas that night and will raise my glass to her, my special friend. on the 14th i believe i will shed a tear which for me does not come easy.


skip is a cutie, i'll bet she has already been giving him pointers in heaven. losing someone sucks but knowing they are in peace is a comfort, i think.

to the lost loved ones i raise these tiny hearts filled with huge amounts of love.
