I like the way ^^^^she thinks!
I'd be mowing the lawn and rocking to AC/DC's Thunderstruck as hubby was drilling some of the rocks out in our yard in order to blast them (that's right...blow them up...KABOOM!) for the new pool I suddenly NEEDED to get!
I hate inconsiderate neighbors! Had them at the place we had just before we bought this house. It wasn't their dog's fault, but she would bark constantly just after they came home from work. She wanted attention and she knew they were home and so she'd bark and bark...for hours. They rarely came out to see her...sometimes she had been out there all day in the winter (freezing cold) and she was a dalmation. No hair to protect her...no dog house to go into. My heart bled for her. I couldn't take anymore one day. I cut an article out of a magazine I had read, about care for a dog in the cold weather. I knocked on their door and asked them if they didn't hear the dog barking each time they come home. They said, "Yeah, she never shuts up so we ignore her and she'll calm down sooner or later". I read them the riot act! I was livid! I read the article to them and I told them about dogs being "pack" animals and I explained that it meant they NEED company...they love being with people or other animals! I told them that her coat couldn't possibly protect her from the elements and that if they didn't do anything to rectify this situation, I was calling the police and the A.S.P.C.A! I stormed off and went home to watch and see if they did anything. Meanwhile...she's still barking in the backyard. Do you believe...they did NOTHING! I called the cops and they called the A.S.P.C.A...and the dog was taken away! It was all I could do as I couldn't take her or my cat would have had her for dinner. I hope she found a nice home. I know I did...when I moved here and away from those assholes! Luckily, we have the best neighbors ever now...on both sides!
