Now good people of Pixies, we are all jumping to conclusions here.

It could be a simple typo-misunderstanding. Perhaps it is a 'seafood' cookbook. Or it could be a cookbook for sailors. (semen = men at sea)

No, I don't think it is either! I wonder what kind of recipes there are? Curious, not enough to have bid on it but wouldn't mind looking at it..... As long as the pages aren't sticky. ewwwww!!
