Lets see.This goes back to about 1967.In the 8th grade.A girl I knew was comming toward me holding a small paper back book and she was laughing her fool head off.I asked her, what was so funny and she handed me the book and said read this.The book was a copy of Tropic of Capricorn by Henry Miller.This was the first time that I've ever heard of him. I asked if I could read the book,but she said it belonged to her mother and she'd kill her if she knew she had it. Well I walked into the jr.high school library and after trying to look the book up by the dewey decimal system like we were taught to do,I asked the librarian if there was a copy of Tropic of Capricorn here? Her jaw just dropped and all she said was..."AH Noooooo."
