I'm so "verklempt"!  What a lovely response!
I think I'll choose reason #3.
#1 Probably makes as much sense as anything.
And #2, well, my self-perception won't let me agree with that one. But it sure is nice to think it might be so.
And #4.....well, although we're both of the "Flower Power" and "Make Love, Not War" generation, I never really got into the "hippy" culture and have never taken a "hit". But I still love "tie-dyed" stuff and wish I had more of it to wear, and the brighter the better.
