Well I will admit, this issue hits very close to home for me... I'm 6'. That makes me a very tall women. I've often found myself with tall men as a result. I think that if I met someone I felt was the love of my like who was shorter than me, I would look beyond height.
But as for your question... I think that a large difference in height would be a little weird... at least for me, but I've found that the closer my height is to my man's, the better. So being the same height would be the ideal.
