I'd make a spreadsheet and cross reference my data with the latest results of the mastery tests for the appropriate grade level. Then file it chronologically with every comment and every paper they ever brought home from school, every homework assignment including the scrap paper that shows the work, a time line of study hours, audio tapes of them practicing spelling words in front of a mirror, pictures of them cleaning out and organizing their backpacks every friday since the begining of the school year, notarized interviews with other kids on the bus, playground & lunchroom in which my child's character is the topic, and then...finally...and this is the most important step.....
I'd forget it at home.
How far would you go for chocolate pudding?

Complete surrender should not just come at moments in which one faces overwhelming odds, but in the calm when it seems one is personally in complete control of one's life.
