Legal age to drive
Learners Licence: 16yrs & 6months
Provisional Licence: Must have held a Learners Licence for a minimum of 6months in the last 2 yrs
Open Licence: Under 23 years of age - held a provisional licence for at least three years
23 years but not 24 years of age - held a provisional licence for at least two years
24 years of age and above - held a provisional licence for at least one year

Sex with someone of the opposite sex (heterosexual sex) is legal once you are both over 16.
It is a criminal offence for any male to have sex with a female who is under 16. This means that if a boy has sex with a girl under 16, he is breaking the law, even if the girl agrees to have sex with him.
There is no age limit for boys, which means that a boy of any age can legally have sex with a girl as long as she is over 16.
However, it is a criminal offence for anyone under 18 to have anal intercourse, whether it is between a male and a female, or between two people of the same sex.
