Well, I'm sure some of are wondering what we did!
Somewhat to my shame, now I've read your replies, we ended up keeping (& spending!) most of it!!

Bollocks to being nice she left it, she lost it! It's mine, mine, mine I tell ya! I'm always soooooo careful about making sure I take my money and my card back. The main reason for going to a cash machine is to get money so if you can go to one and come away with out the money then I say you don't deserve it :-)

My thinking mostly went ^^^ this way; however, we thought the woman(?!) would realise she didn't have her money, and come back for it, so we actually stood around the machine for over half-an-hour, watching to see if anyone would come back and look to see if there was any money/note left. With it being such a weird amount (120 of ANYTHING is a bit odd, I reckon!) we figured it would be easy to scope out if the person was in fact "The One".
Didn't happen. We got some strange looks off two Garda (Police) who passed us twice..... I'm afraid I'm not too enamoured of the Police... I know a LOT of police, and by & large, a relatively small amount of money like that would end up in THEIR pockets! (No offence to any Police-Pixies!!!

) so giving it to them was not an option as far as I was concerned.
Well, the cash was in 2 fifties and a 20...... one of the fifties went in the "tin" for a local hospice, the rest went in the tills of local shops!
Like I said, I feel a WEE bit ashamed of myself, now I've read your replies...... but being honest with myself, in the same circumstances, I think I'd do the same again. TOTALLY different if I'd paid attention to who was at the ATM, like I would have at home..... would have shouted her, or whatever. But, that's what we did, not much we can do about it now!
Hope y'all don't think TOO badly of me!
