My little one and I surprisingly were introduced to a new book during the same week. Both of us at school, and it made him giggle that his Mommy was reading the same books at school that he was (since he is in 2nd grade). At one point in his life they thought that his brain issues would effect his cognitive and emotional abilities, so to hear him in the back seat mimic the story..."Epossumondas, you ain't got the sense you was born with," in a female cajun accent just made me get warm all over. So I promptly purchased this. I also downloaded her reading the story to put on a cd to give him with it!
