I didn’t realize how far north you were in Minnesota Nightfalke.  lol Spent some time in the Ely area. You need to paddle around in the Quetico Boundary Waters area some time.  You may luck-up, meet one of our kunuck sisters and she’ll tell you all about it.  lol
It seems from this information, that it is more of an area observance than I was aware of. Cleveland seems much like what SS spoke of for Detroit. There are many active veterans groups in the area and we have ceremonies around the city, including city hall. While less attended than the St Paddy’s Day parade,  we even had a small one here today.
