All the other posts have said it as well or better then I could have, that communication is the Key.

Somehow when you get your S/O into this discussion, you will need to discuss all aspects of the mmf and/or mff. What are your expectations of things to happen. For example in a mmf--what would the "other" get to do--what do expectations of your S/O involvement with him--do you use rain coats and etc.

Men like knowing the details ahead of time especially if it is a first time and by discussing it you may find why this may or may not be an option in your relationship
