I'm glad you found something to help your wife, Irish!
After discussing with them yesterday, and previous times with OB's, we're all pretty certain the headaches are coming more from tension than migrains. I don't get most of the 'classic' migrain symptoms.
Lilith, I took a midrin what, about an hour and a half ago? I just sat down to eat, and got semi neasous (sp?), so I stopped eating. I sat down on the couch for a few minutes to re-read my perscription help sheet thing, and started feeling a bit shakey, not bad. When I stood up, I got dizzy.
The drug is a combination analgesic, vasoconstrictor (???), and a sedative.
I feel buzzed right now, like I just drank down a shots of high proof liquer. I'm not feeling the headache, though, which is nice for once.
It does say that over time the symptoms are supposed to be a lot less. It might even be worse because I started the wellbutrin today, as well, and that warns of many of the same side affects.
I definatly don't think I'd need to take two of these at once, though. I advise taking it when you don't have to worry about going anywhere, or doing anything. I was supposed to do groceries today. No way in hell I'm driving, or even taking the kids anywhere.
