I have enjoyed opera for many years. Permit me to recommend some of the works of Gilbert & Sullivan. While their efforts are not considered Grand Opera in the style of Mozart, Verdi, or Wagner, they are quite entertaining, and you may be surprised how many tunes you recognize. Try “HMS Pinafore”, “The Pirates of Penzance”, and “The Mikado”.
