It is the same guy, lakritze....he had good hands, took what most magicians call table magic outside and did it as "street magic". He was good, but not the best. Still, the one that gets on TV is the one everyone knows. I lost interest in him the first time he did a trick which required a camera edit (levitation). Then it wasn't even table magic any more, it was a boring TV cheat. Although I didn't see all his specials, those I did see didn't contain an original trick. He wasn't an innovator.
And this box thing deserves to be laughed at. Men and women have done as much and more in internment camps throughout history. Doing it for entertainment and claiming it's "demonstrating human potential" insults them. I already know about human potential, I could've saved this jerk a month and a half by introducing him to my uncle.
