The first movie that stayed with me after I saw it was "Candyman". There was enough urban legend woven into the film that for a while, when ever I went into the bathroom I made sure that the light was on, and that I didn't stare into the mirror.

Children of the Corn, Amityville Horror, and the Omen series did that to me too.....there is a touch of realism in each of those that would give me chills even after the viewing......
