Where I grew up, one of the AM DJs heard that most clock radios go off at 6:30...so he decided to play exactly the same song at 6:30 am every morning and see how long it took folks to notice. The sort of thing you can only get away with in the middle of nowhere NM.

I was one of the 6:30 alarmers. I had Penny Lane stuck in my head for 2 weeks. Haven't been able to stand it ever since.
