Gotta say, shaving the outer labia is a must, so there's a good clean working surface around the opening of the puss. But a little patch on top is always nice to remind you of the fact that it's a woman you're working on. The patch has got to stay VERY short though. As a guy, I keep a short patch on top, but shave the working surface.
