For the last three years my kids and I have always dyed them together. Usually just half a dozen. I am the one the eats them, but only the whites, the yolks are just too bad for you.

A side note I think is akin to cannabilism....I throw the egg yolks outside and the rabbits eat them...Easter bunny eating eggs...that is just wrong.
