Thank you chainedkitten. You helped put a name on what I've been feeling lately. The only difference is that I'm surrounded by people all the time and I still feel lonely.

I'm the only female in a houseful of men. I'm lonely for some female companionship, for someone who truly knows how I feel and can empathize from a place of knowing where I'm at.

I've tried to make friends with the kid's friends moms, but that hasn't been working out too well.

Sometimes I just need another woman to talk to, a woman my own age !!!!
