Probably for the same reason women are insecure about breast size or the size of their butt or that tiny little roll in the middle..... human nature. Filled with insecurities & self-doubt.

And then I wonder if sometimes its just a way to get the person your with to tell you how great & perfect & wonderful & etc you are.....?????
