I do remember happening onto Pixies July 4th 2001. Having the complete day off and along with the weekend, I was able to read EVERY page of EVERY thread. I don’t know what the membership count was at that time, but it was like reading a novel, getting to KNOW the people and their personalities.

I couldn’t believe there were that many sexually mature and open people in one place that wasn’t commercially driven. I lurked for months. I even got my Pixie mailbox and watched it for two months to see if that was the mercantile agent this skeptical old bastard suspected before actually joining the rolls.

I should add that I had never visited a board before. My years with my computer was restricted to a working tool and research use. My personal use consisted of occasional surfing for porn to jack-off with and reading some good erotica. Hence the stumble into Pixies. It quickly became the difference between a hooker and a lover. I felt I wasn't looking at a sexual object, but real human forms and persona.

If I read one post every 15 seconds now, 4 per minute, (fat chance of only gazing at 15 seconds at our ladies) I could do it again………… in 36.8 days ………. If I didn’t eat or sleep or miss a beat.
