Actually, did you notice that most of the ideas suggested tend to be the typical ... ho hum ... tourist brochure kinds of places.

How you could ever choose those when the glorious heartland is so close by. Think of what you're missing.

Amber fields of grain waving in the breeze, bending low to the springtime tradition of circular funnels reaching to the sky; the fresh, aromatic aroma of America's breadbasket, where tomorrow's bacon is visible today; small quaint towns with their main streets boarded up and replaced by the new Casey's General Store; and, of course, marvelous rivers lazily drifting south to the gulf while the barges move north.



Actually, it's really pretty nice here! Besides, even if it wasn't good before, it would certainly be after you got here
