As part of a younger generation (I'm 32) that has not known war I find it sad that we can't seem to remember our soldiers. It used to be that Rememberance Day in my Canadian town had a big turn out of young and old to pay there respects to soldiers living and passed on. The last few years have eroded this respect and I have seen talking in the minute of silence, no one dresses up anymore, and some seem to think this is an ideal time to protest whatever cause they are fighting for that week. 2002 brought on a new idea to hold the ceremonies inside because of the cold. Like the soldiers in the trenches had a choice if they were too cold. We should cherish our comfort. How soon we forget!

Just my two cents for what it is worth.
