here is one i wrote to my friends before our graduation:

April 5, 2001

My friends are blessings in disguise
each different
and each the same
because i love them all
they bring light and love into my life
they make my life worth living
they know the times when i'm sad
when i'm mad
and the seldom times i'm glad
they help me heal my broken heart
give me security to tell my secrets
to tell my inner feelings
with them i hope i'll never part
and my friends i tell you this
i love you all
may you be blessed with your wish
and all your dreams come true
find the love of your life
and be happy forever and always
