I'm thrilled to say he came home Friday and doing fantastic (considering ) on the healing trail. He will be laid up for at least 4-6 months with the hips they tell him. The important internal injuries have had all that can be done, done, and the monitoring and therapy has been above acceptable. They want him to return to THEIR facility in Columbus for a final check-up in three weeks but his orthopedic therapy will be local.

Erok came home on Saturday and there was no doubt he was pleased to be get there. It is the only place where he is not in a kennel of some type or working with a handler, so 'home' is where he can be a dog and you can tell he is happy to be there.

This is a happy family that still is breathing a little deep.
