I don't have time to snopes but I am pretty sure the man who writes the Maxine series did not write those things. Usually when you get an email that has strong political remarks aimed towards a person or specific populace they try to attribute those remarks to someone people love or respect to give them some weight. Many remarks have been attributed to Andy Rooney, Erma Bombeck, George Carlin, and Robin Williams that they would never condone much less say.

I can't confirm she didn't write it but I doubt Halmark would condone it.
