I think I tried to warn somebody that A/C is mandatory here, but nooooooo....

The threat of isolated storms is real enough, but I really don't expect it'll rain on everybody's parade...here in the south, we have little "popcorn" showers that break out sporadically, but rarely rain hard enough or long enough to cancel any important plans...today was a good example, I covered a lot of territory but never got more than a few sprinkles on my windshield, but as I was headed home, I saw evidence of a brief hard shower a few miles from home, but on my street was hardly any rain at all...
