It was a similar situation in the city. My wife is also an Election Judge, and the support which they receive is distinctly limited. One of the two extra tables supplied for people filing provisional ballots and incidental activities was broken, so they had to scrounge about to get another. The BCFD engine house where that precinct’s voting takes place was also a bit brisk.

When I came to pick up Dearsweet and her odds and ends, one of the other judges told me that the extended hours were because the Governor, who is a Clinton supporter, though that would tip the scales in her favor.
