i think i like the multi-function stuff better - we have too many components already, and no blu-ray player yet. i want to start saving up for a wii or ps3 for next christmas. perhaps wii will go multi-functional. or maybe they'll come out with a psiii.

how about games? i heard the ps3 ones are outrageously pricey
