Unfortunately ... this kind of "transition" ... is probably more the rule than the exception in most of the world. Benazir Bhutto even acknowledged that she was facing a severe threat by simply returning to Pakistan. The Taliban and Al Queda (as I understand it) even threatened her life because she was determined to free Pakistan of their influence. Wouldn't it be nice if the world would only direct it's passions to peace and the well-being of all.
