This sounds eerily like the virus that took over my puter some while back...the big difference being I didn't sign up for any "free trial", nor intentionally download anything, it was just an outright hijacking & in my mind, outright theft of my personal property...my bp still goes up when I remember the absolute helplessness I felt...

And, I might add, %$##^& Farkin' *&@#$%^ McAfee was supposed to be guarding my computer at the time, & stood there with its finger up its ass throughout the whole ordeal...
