Is it only me, who thinks that perhaps this marriage is worth salvaging.

I don't expect there are many couples out there who'd manage to choose the same person unwittingly twice. If you can fall in love with someone all over again like that, then surely they should agree to stay together and make changes in their marriage?

Fate clearly has decided they should be together!
