Yep  This thread stirred the taste for a dog so much I drove to the other side of town tonight to get back to the Hot Dog Inn and get my "two up & a bowl" (that's the original chili sauce recipe on a grilled, all-beef skinny wiener, not on an over sized bun, with mustard and chopped onions  ) and a bowl of chili. 
I didn't have my first one until 1948, but by then the place was established long enough then that I knew it would be around for more.
