I'm all for using or resourses wisely, & this makes me think I should be getting on about doing something (voluntarily) about it in my own home right about now...but...

I always have this problem with government (or any authority types) taking the decisions out of our hands, beating me with a stick & telling me, "it's for your own good" never gets the desired results...also, there are practical considerations these jackass lawgivers never consider, like small lamps with insuffcient space for most CFs, or some older shades I've seen around that are designed to clip over the top of a normal round bulb...are we just expected to toss them out just cuz they say we have to...

OK, rant over...I'll take my meds now & get back to my basket weaving...
