Bad day - good day?

I remember walking in the mountains and it was raining, it was raining in buckets in the height of summer and I met this sweet lady, I was about to say "Shit weather, fucking ruined my vacation..etc" and she smiles and says "Good weather for this time of year" Her smile kinda changed my view. But that kinda story does not help when your down. the things that make it a good day - my kids doing their stuff, reading a book, posting a letter, texting my friends with lines from songs, drinking tea with my wife in the evening, getting it on with my wife..that's always a good day.
