about 12 oz melting chocolate
peppermint oil

melt the chocolate in a double boiler, stir in a drop of peppermint oil, taste it to see if it's good, make it a bit more minty, tasting as you adjust to about 7 heavy drops, dip cookies to coat, set in the fridge to cool on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper.
