There is a faction within the Islamic community which calls for an Islamic super-state stretching from West Africa to the Phillipines, from central asia to (and including) northern Australia.

Australian culture has a certain "shape", with plenty of room for cultural and ethnic diversity, but in the final analysis, when a minority decide their politico-relious agenda is more important than our Australia, then "Naaaa, sorry bub."
