Irish suggested in an e-mail that I try again this am and sure enough I got through to Pixies. Thank heavens. I was about to suffer deep emotional scars; terrible sexual withdrawal symptons; and untold mental anguish thinking that this emergency contact with Pixies was lost.

Anyway, Lilith and Irish ... thank you both! Hopefully I'll find out about my machine this afternoon. My wife called yesterday and while the person on the phone didn't know, they said usually when it takes this long it's because a part was needed. They were going to try an find out and we'll call this afternoon to see what they learned (if anything).

SugarSprinkles suggested maybe they were looking a all those pixie pictures and just didn't want to give up my machine yet. Sounds logical. I suggested my computer had the hots for the technician and just didn't want to come home yet. Who knows.
