What you just said got me to wondering. You know how the right side of the brain contains most of our sexual urges, intuition and creativity, but it controls the
left side of our bodies? Well, I've read a couple of articles that claimed you could release your creative potential by stimulating the left side of your body (by scribbling in a notepad for example). The logical (left) side of your brain gets bored and lets the intuitive, feminine, creative side take over.
I tried it a few times and after a while I did get kinda floaty (I'm already a space cadet at the best of times) - all the colors in the room seemed to become much brighter and more vivid, and when I tried doing a few sketches in my notepad (again with my left hand), it was very scribbly and shaky looking, but it
did seem to capture something quite raw and creative and original.
