This could be just cause i enjoyed (and still do) it so, but when I was introducing anal play with my SO i was rimming, using my tongue for months and months before even getting into a finger or two. And like I said it may just because i enjoy it so I have still never used lube when having anal but I think we were all given a natural lube that I make sure has been properlly applied by my mouth first and have never had a problem.
