For my birthday, i wanted fresh strawberries and whipped cream on angel food cake. Neither Mayhem, nor his family had ever eaten, much less heard of angel food cake. So His mother and i planned even before i came over to see that she had the right ingredients. She lent me her kitchen and i baked the cakes. They seemed to like it well enough

What was different about the whipped cream we have in England Lizz? Clotted cream is something completely different...much more dense and solid, whereas whipped cream is lighter and more airy. And then of course there's the nasty sweetened stuff that comes out of a can and dissolves as soon as it hits something warm....
