Thank you Lilith... you just brought back to me one of my most treasured memories... corny.. but here goes..

When I was 17... in fact.. December 23 1986 to be exact..

I had this wonderful friend.. Steve.. he and I met when I was 16 at the movie theater that we worked at.. he was my best friend.. and we had one of those relationships that we loved one another but we always seemed to be otherwise involved when one of us decided we wanted to try the next level. Needless to say, we never did.. tho we often got close.. I will always love him... anyway..

On December 23rd 1986 he surprised me with tickets to see Journey... my all time favorite group. He picked me up.. and we started our 2 hour drive to Long Beach.. to see them.. on the way there.. rockin with our tunes.. and enjoying being with one another... being the teenager that I was... it didn't take much to fall into the gutter with Steve... he sneezed... 3 times... and my response... I asked him if he always "came" in threes... well.. it wasn't a big jump.. and both of us laughed hysterically... both of us realizing exactly how that comment could have been taken...

Steve and I lost contact after I married... several years later, after my divorce... I reached out to find him. It wasn't easy.. but I looked online and found several email addresses attached to the same name. I wrote each one... explaining that I was searching for a special friend.. and that he would know if it was him if he knew what came in 3's... much to my delight.. he was one of those that I wrote.. and his response... was exactly what I knew it would be.
