Yahoo is okay, but when I was still in Iowa, my sweetie and I had some difficulty with Yahoo's reliability. Because of child commitments on both ends, we're only able to see each other in person two-three times a week currently, so on other nights, after kids are in bed, we usually use MSN messenger to video chat.

That being said, one thing we've gotten into the habit of is what I term "personalized porn." Especially on days where we *will* see each other, but also on days where that's not possible, we'll send emails throughout the day. In them, sometimes we develop a story line that's carried through several emails (or even a few days) about what we'd like to do the next time we're together, what might happen, how it might feel, what it might make us think, etc. Oftentimes (like, OMG, this past week) it "fuels the fire" so that, when we do see each other, things are quite...passionate.
