In general people are very patient here about threads being posted on the same topic repeatedly, as they have been in this thread as well. Nothing wrong with asking and everyone's replies were courteous. It's fun idea that has been posted in two different areas, which may have led to the confusion.

I don't think anyone suggested or jumped anyone's ass over it being posted. Nothing wrong with saying yes this is the one we did very recently so yes it should be familiar.
