Together

Walking along the lake shore, we watch the beautiful sun set.
As we stroll hand in hand, we celebrate the day that we met.

The moon is brightly shining, the stars glitter in the night.
It seems when I am with you, everything will be all right.

As the clouds slowly move in, life has offered us a chance.
With the crickets as our music, beneath the sky we dance.

The rain starts to pour down, laughing we run for cover.
I look into your eyes and whisper, “I want to be your lover.”

Outside the thunder rolls, we watch the lightning strike.
We snuggle close together, as your arms hold me tight.
