The wine of choice is a dry red wine. Our Provincial Liquor Commission offers wine tasting classes. I also took a course called ‘Fun with Scotch’. They are a lot of fun and believe it or not, educational. I like many Australian Pinot Noir, South African Pinot Gris – both very similar grapes that have a full body taste. Ontario has some great Ice Wines.

I started writing down the names of the wines I enjoyed. Over time I discovered that I tended to like a certain grape. Wine is really all about, ‘Do you enjoy it’. Who cares what anyone else says.
