A common treatment is to make a really high pitched, shrill scream and duck and bob around REAL fast as you swat at them. This can often get them to change what they were doing around your food. :jump:
If getting stung ISN’T your goal,  … try giving them the saucers of sugar water that OldFart mentioned. You may even add a couple drops of red food coloring as this is frequency color they are naturally attracted to.
